The Tunicho design was born from the realization that when one wears a poncho, it is very difficult to carry a bag. The solution was the Tunicho. Part poncho, and part tunic.
The sleeve portion of the Tunicho allows for easy carrying of a shoulder or cross body bag, while still retaining the easy flow of a poncho.
The Tunicho is reversible, creating the option for two different looks.
The asymmetric hemline adds to the piece's distinctive styling.
This Tunicho is constructed of Canadian produced and milled wool, in an open knit, making it perfect for layering.
The colored accents on the piece are knit of wool dyed by hand in the natural dyes of cutch and pomegranate.
This Tunicho is designed as a "one size" item, perfectly fitting those who wear a woman's size medium or large.

As all our textiles are created with a "zero waste" mindset, each piece will display yarn joins and tie-offs, yarn variations, and dye variations; characteristics of truly handcrafted pieces.

Care: hand wash cold water, lay flat to dry out of direct sun, towel rolling when wet is also effective for drying. A cool steam iron can also be utilized for reshaping.
